- Prof. Qin is interested in doing inter-multidisciplinary research
on social change, social development, information society;
global problems; cross-impact of science, technology and society.
He conducts project research for academic institutions, government
organizations and international bodies like UNESCO, UNDP, etc.
He acts as scientific researcher, policy analyst, enterprises
consultant, educator in training programmes and honorable editor or
advisor of domestic journal, newspaper and other publications.
He works together with The World Futures Studies Federation,
The International Association Futuribles as councillor; and with
the journal ``Futures'' as international advisory board member.
- His main concern is the futures of national and global societies,
science and technology development, cultures, and education.
